Role Overview

Join our hospitality team as a Server, where you'll play an essential part in delivering exceptional guest service at The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah. As part of our team, you'll work in an ONSITE environment, contributing to our standard of excellence in a luxurious setting and ensuring every guest experience is memorable.

• Greet guests by name, if known, and assist in seating them comfortably.
• Serve guests within assigned stations under the supervision of the manager and supervisor.
• Demonstrate complete knowledge of food, beverage offerings, and service details including preparation methods.
• Anticipate customer needs and proactively respond to ensure maximum guest satisfaction and foster strong guest relations.
• Report any customer complaints to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Place orders in the kitchen and ensure proper operating equipment is set up on tables.
• Stock cabinets and drawers with adequate mis-en-place to facilitate smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and wear the prescribed uniform at all times.
• Ensure outlet cleanliness is maintained at all times.
• Stay familiar with all hotel facilities to assist and guide guests.
• Conduct daily inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Perform side duties and other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

• Prior experience as a waitress or in a guest-facing hospitality role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage service and preparation methods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
• Presentable, well-groomed appearance in line with prescribed hotel standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
• Organizational skills to manage inventories and station set-up.

• Prior experience working in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.
• Familiarity with international guest service standards.
• Ability to communicate in additional languages.
