Job Description

The Senior Systems Engineer is a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of our organization's IT infrastructure. This position involves leading the design, implementation, management, and support of complex systems and platforms. The successful candidate will have a broad and deep knowledge of enterprise systems, networking, and performance optimization. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically are crucial as the Senior Systems Engineer plays a critical role in shaping the technological backbone of the company.

Additionally, this role requires collaboration with various departments to align technology solutions with business goals and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.

• Design and implement scalable and secure enterprise-level IT systems and infrastructure.
• Monitor and optimize system performance to enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Lead troubleshooting initiatives for complex technical issues across various platforms.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all system configurations and changes.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet organizational needs.
• Conduct security assessments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and execute regular backup and recovery operations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and IT staff members.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technology solutions and equipment.
• Plan and implement future expansion of the company’s technological framework.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering or related roles.
• Strong background in system architecture, networking, and storage solutions.
• Proficiency with virtualization technologies and cloud computing platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
