Software Quality Tester Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or related fields.
- Preferred certification or coursework in Islamic Finance/Banking.
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance in the banking industry.
- Hands‑on experience in Core Banking applications and card systems (e.g., HPS, way4).
- Proficiency in test automation tools and test management systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, API testing, and basic scripting.
- Testing certification (e.g., ISTQB Foundation Level or CSTE Certified Software Tester).
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Experience in test planning and strategy.
- Experience in test case design.
- Defect management.
- Knowledge of testing types.
- Automation testing.
