Network Engineer

The primary responsibility of the role is to ensure complete operational health of all network infrastructure, maintaining and enhancing it to ensure high‑availability, security, and performance.

• Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot company LANs, WANs, wireless networks, and VPNs.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve wired and wireless network problems.
• Conduct regular network performance tests.
• Implement, monitor, and manage network QoS.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and diagrams for LANs, WANs, and other network interconnections.
• Analyze technical architecture of the network core, distribution, and access layers to understand dependencies, points of failure, and impacts, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Implement, monitor, and maintain all levels of network security in conjunction with the security team.
• Troubleshoot issues efficiently while communicating escalations and outcomes.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues to keep the network running smoothly.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of networking protocols, TCP/IP, QoS, and traffic shaping for wired and wireless networks.
• 6–8 years of experience configuring and implementing multi‑vendor hardware networks.
• Hands‑on experience with IPSec tunnels and SSL VPN.
• Hands‑on experience designing wireless networks for optimal performance and security.
• Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
• In‑depth knowledge of STP, VPC, and VLAN design.
• Working knowledge of cloud computing platforms.
• Ability to create detailed LLD and HLD diagrams.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑starter capable of working independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and operations, cloud networking configuration, and firewalls.
• CCNP or CCIE certification preferred.
