Position: Laptop Technician (Chip Level) | UAE Free zone

Job Details

Job Title: Laptop Technician (L3)

Location: UAE Sharjah

Accommodation: Provided free of cost (Sharjah Free Zone)

Visa: Employment visa valid for 2 years (renewable based on performance)

Food: Not provided (mess facility available nearby)

Transportation: Not provided (facility inside Sharjah Free Zone; candidates may purchase cycles)

Note: Passports issued from Lucknow are not eligible

Salary: Final salary will depend on interview performance and relevant experience

Qualifications
  • Diploma / Degree in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in laptop/desktop repair (L2 level).
  • Age: 20 to 35 years.
  • Valid Passport Mandatory.
Responsibilities
  • Strong hands‑on in hardware troubleshooting, especially chip‑level.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse/service center environment and meet daily repair productivity targets.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware replacement and diagnostics.
  • Proficiency in OS troubleshooting (Windows 10/11, Linux, macOS preferred).
  • Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI, drivers, firmware updates.
  • Good communication and customer‑handling skills.
  • Use online partial discharge test equipment:
    Tech MP Test Kit.
  • Provide Level 2 technical support for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
  • Diagnose and repair hardware issues (motherboards, displays, RAM, storage, batteries, keyboards, etc.).
  • Troubleshoot operating system issues (Windows, Linux, macOS).
  • Perform software installation, updates, patching, driver configurations.
  • Handle backup, recovery, data migration tasks.
  • Escalate unresolved or complex cases to Level 3 support or vendors.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs, service logs, parts inventory.
  • Ensure adherence to company quality standards and SLA commitments.
  • Provide guidance to L1 engineers for escalated support cases.
