Job Description
- Lead development, implementation, and management of advanced IT systems and intelligent computing environments to support precision health initiatives.
- Develop and maintain efficient systems for omics, imaging, and clinical data analysis.
- Ensure secure data pipelines and archiving solutions aligned with governance standards.
- Oversee availability, scalability, and performance of HPC, storage, and cloud/hybrid environments.
- Define and execute AI and cloud computing strategy.
- Provide scientific leadership in AI applications in precision health.
- Identify, evaluate, and integrate external AI vendors, platforms, and partnerships.
- Collaborate with health system to integrate health data.
- Develop quality-oriented software development processes.
- Manage bioinformatics systems, customer service platforms, research access platforms, and health informatics solutions.
- Establish strategic and technical goals, manage IT budgets, oversee procurement and implementation of sector-specific software and hardware.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and information security standards such as ISO 27001, HIPAA, FERPA, and PCI DSS.
- Manage IT operations including networking, telecommunications, user services, IT support, data administration, codification, semantic normalization, and enterprise systems such as HIS, LIMS, and PACS.
- Engage stakeholders, develop partnerships, advocate within scientific computing communities.
- Continuously improve IT processes to support data quality assurance and emerging technologies in healthcare and research.
