We are seeking a dedicated Data Center Operations Specialist to manage and support critical IT infrastructure within a high-availability environment. This role is essential to ensuring the reliability, security, and optimal performance of data center systems and operations.

As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day monitoring, maintenance, and support of enterprise data center environments. You will ensure smooth operations across servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and facility infrastructure, including power and cooling systems. The role requires a solid understanding of both IT infrastructure and physical data center operations, enabling you to proactively detect and resolve issues.

• Monitor and manage data center infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
• Perform routine maintenance of servers, storage systems, and network devices
• Support Windows and Linux server administration tasks
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Oversee data center facility components including power, cooling, and cabling
• Utilize monitoring tools and ITSM platforms for issue tracking and resolution
• Ensure adherence to operational standards, security policies, and best practices
• Document procedures and maintain operational records

• 2–5 years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, or similar roles
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching)
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V)
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure (power systems, cooling, structured cabling)
• Experience with monitoring tools, ticketing systems, and ITSM platforms
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, CCNA, VMware VCP, or ITIL Foundation
• Experience in enterprise or large-scale data center environments
• Exposure to automation or scripting for operational tasks
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and hybrid environments
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
