Job Title - IT Operations Engineer IT Operations Engineer – Core Responsibilities
- Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned projects.
- Lead and participate in operations, outage, incident, and safety meetings.
- Support internal applications, systems, and infrastructure.
- Assist in installation, racking, cabling, and maintenance of equipment.
- Write code, perform programming, testing, debugging, and application support.
- Build, test, and maintain deployment and automation scripts.
- Assemble and install operational equipment including racks, cabinets, shelving, and related infrastructure.
- Support telephone system hardware, cabling, and communication infrastructure changes.
- Create and manage tickets while adhering to customer authentication and sign-in procedures.
- Monitor operational status boards, engineering review boards, and problem management boards.
- Provide project leadership and supervise junior team members when required.
- Prepare technical and operational presentations for customers and management.
- Design, maintain, host, transform, and analyze operational processes.
- Install and maintain mechanical and operational equipment within plant or data center environments.
- Build and execute unit tests and maintain test plans.
- Take corrective actions on system alerts based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform inventory management and data entry for received goods and assets.
- Collaborate with project teams to design solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide timely stakeholder updates during critical incidents and outages.
- Prepare incident reports, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and downtime reports.
- Participate in on-call rotations within a 24x7 operational environment.
- Design scalable, maintainable, testable, and documented software solutions.
- Develop scalable services and client-side components for operational platforms.
- Perform code reviews and collaborate with development and operations teams.
- Support Application Maintenance and ITIL processes including:

- Patch Management
- Linux Administration
- UNIX Systems
- Python Programming
- Autosys Scheduling
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.)
