IT System Administrator (Networking & Power Shell)

Sharjah - SAIF Zone, UAE

We are seeking a skilled IT System Administrator (Networking & Power Shell) to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Windows Server environments, networking, and Power Shell automation, ensuring system reliability, security, and performance across the organization.

• System Administration
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups
• Networking
• Configure and support LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Ensure network security and compliance with company policies
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network-related services
• Power Shell & Automation
• Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts for system automation, reporting, and administration
• Automate routine IT tasks such as user provisioning, system health checks, and backups
• Improve efficiency by reducing manual IT processes
• Security & Compliance
• Implement and monitor security best practices
• Manage antivirus, endpoint protection, and access controls
• Assist with audits, documentation, and IT compliance requirements
• Support & Documentation
• Provide Level 2/3 IT support for system and network issues
• Create and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and system diagrams
• Work closely with other departments to support business operations

• Education & Experience:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, Firewalls), Proficient in Power Shell scripting and automation, Experience with virtualization (Hyper-V / VMware) is an advantage, Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring tools
• Soft Skills:
  
  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, Good communication and documentation skills, High attention to detail and security awareness
• Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
  Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104), Networking certifications (CCNA or equivalent), Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments
