An opportunity is available for an experienced NOC Engineer – Enterprise Operations in Sharjah, UAE. The position focuses on enterprise infrastructure monitoring and operational support across websites, applications, APIs, network devices, Windows servers, cloud services, and critical business platforms.
The role requires 6+ years of NOC or Enterprise Infrastructure Monitoring experience
, hands-on knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Site
24x7, and experience with IT service management tools including BMC Helix or BMC Remedy. The successful candidate will perform first-line troubleshooting, incident management, escalation, monitoring, and operational documentation within a 24×7 environment.
This is a full-time position requiring rotational shift availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and have a maximum notice period of 15 days.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor enterprise websites, applications, APIs, network devices, Windows servers, cloud services, and critical business platforms.
- Use Site
24x7 and enterprise monitoring tools such as Manage Engine OpManager, App Dynamics, or equivalent platforms. - Validate alerts and perform first-line troubleshooting.
- Escalate incidents based on severity and business impact.
- Manage incidents using BMC Helix, BMC Remedy, BMC Service Management, or similar ITSM platforms.
- Monitor website and application availability.
- Monitor APIs, SSL certificates, DNS, response times, and synthetic transactions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and Windows Server environments.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams and external vendors for incident resolution.
- Maintain accurate shift handovers.
- Prepare incident reports and operational documentation.
- Maintain SLA/KPI updates.
- Experience: 6+ years in NOC or Enterprise Infrastructure Monitoring.
- Hands-on experience with Site
24x7 or equivalent monitoring platforms. - Experience with BMC Helix, BMC Remedy, or similar ITSM tools.
- Good understanding of ITIL processes.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, NAT, routing, and switching.
- Experience with Windows Server and Windows 10/11.
- Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, SSL/TLS, and application monitoring.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Strong incident management and escalation skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Willingness to work 24×7 rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Location Requirement: Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.
