As a Network Engineer supporting Cygnus Technologies in Sharjah, UAE, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of enterprise routing and switching, Fortinet and Palo Alto next‑generation firewalls, F5 load balancing, and Cisco ISE network access control. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include configuring OSPF and BGP routing protocols, managing site‑to‑site and remote access VPNs, deploying data center networking fabrics, reviewing firewall rules for security hardening, and troubleshooting complex multi‑vendor network anomalies.

• Administer next‑generation firewalls including Fortinet Forti Gate and Palo Alto systems, ensuring secure site‑to‑site and remote access VPN tunnels.
• Deploy and manage high‑availability data center networking infrastructure, F5 load balancers, and software‑defined WAN (SD‑WAN) solutions.
• Configure and manage enterprise Wireless LAN (WLAN) architectures and network access control (NAC) via Cisco ISE and 802.1X protocols.
• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex network performance degradation, routing loops, and connectivity failures promptly.
• Execute rigorous network security hardening, access control list (ACL) reviews, micro‑segmentation, and firewall rule optimizations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive professional experience in enterprise network engineering, data center operations, and network security.
