Purchase Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure raw materials and production consumables at competitive prices while ensuring timely availability.
• Request, review, and evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparative analysis reports.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requirements and delivery schedules.
• Collect supplier contracts, invoices, and required documentation while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with the Finance Department for timely issuance of Letters of Credit (LCs) for international purchases and Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs) for local orders.
• Monitor order progress and provide regular updates to relevant departments.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain and update procurement records, including import LC registers, LC priority lists, transit tracking, and raw material cost records.

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering discipline.
• 1–2 years of procurement experience, preferably handling technical items within the PEB industry.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and supplier coordination.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English;
  Arabic will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple purchasing activities and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of:
• ERP procurement modules.
• Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Purchase orders, supplier documentation, and procurement records management. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any Engineering field
