Senior Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Source evaluate and negotiate with local and international suppliers vendors for materials steel fabric membrane hardware landscaping materials etc and services
  
  Prepare and issue Purchase Orders POs in line with project requirements and approved budgets
  
  Obtain and compare quotations conduct commercial evaluations and recommend the best value suppliers
  
  Coordinate with project site and estimation teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines
  
  Track order status expedite deliveries and resolve supply chain delays or issues
  
  Maintain and update supplier database price lists and procurement records
  
  Negotiate contracts payment terms and service level agreements with vendors
  
  Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  
  Monitor stock inventory levels in coordination with warehouse store teams
  
  Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers without compromising quality
  
  Handle import export logistics and customs documentation where applicable common in UAE trading environment Mentor and guide junior procurement staff
  
  Prepare procurement reports and support management with cost analysis

• Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field)3–5 years of procurement experience, ideally in construction, manufacturing, or related industries
• UAE market experience preferred, including knowledge of local suppliers and import processes

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Good understanding of procurement/supply chain processes and contract terms
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/procurement software
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple purchase orders simultaneously
• Analytical skills for cost comparison and budget tracking
• Good communication skills (English essential; Arabic/Hindi a plus)
• Knowledge of UAE import/export regulations and customs procedures is an advantage
