Logistics Coordinator (Contract)
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the supply chain, from coordinating shipments to tracking inventory and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in logistics or supply chain management, along with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the supply chain including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and delivery
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and shipping partners to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods
- Track inventory levels and make recommendations for purchasing or restocking as needed
- Monitor transportation schedules and make adjustments as necessary to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the shipping process
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, invoices, and other important documentation
- Collaborate with other departments to improve supply chain processes and efficiency
- Prior experience in logistics or supply chain management preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with various parties involved in the supply chain process
- Problem-solving abilities to address any challenges that may arise during transportation or delivery
- Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
- Must have own visa for employment in UAE
