Job SummaryThe CRC Supervisor is responsible for overseeing engine and hydraulic repair operations within the Heavy Machinery & Equipment Workshop. The role ensures efficient workshop performance through effective team leadership, technical support, resource planning, and coordination of warranty and PSP-related activities.
Responsibilities- Supervise daily engine and hydraulic repair activities.
- Assign tasks and monitor technician performance.
- Diagnose complex engine and hydraulic system issues.
- Ensure repairs meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Coordinate warranty repairs, claims, and PSP activities.
- Plan and optimize manpower, tools, and workshop resources.
- Ensure timely completion of repair and maintenance jobs.
- Maintain accurate workshop records and reports.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.
Skills & Qualifications
- Education:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Experience:
7+ years of experience in heavy machinery maintenance and repair, with supervisory experience preferred. - Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment repairs.
- Experience with diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Familiarity with warranty processes and PSP coordination.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of workshop safety standards and reporting systems.
