Housemaid for English-Speaking Family in Sharjah
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Housemaid to join our Self‑speaking household in Sharjah, UAE. As a Housemaid, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home while ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. We are specifically looking for candidates from India or Africa who have experience working as a housemaid and can communicate effectively in English.
Key Responsibilities- Daily cleaning and tidying of all rooms in the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, etc.
- Laundry duties such as washing, ironing, and folding clothes
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Grocery shopping and meal preparation according to the family's dietary preferences
- Ensuring that all household supplies are well‑stocked
- Assisting with organizing and decluttering the home
- Running errands as needed
- Occasional pet care (we have a friendly dog)
- Experience working as a housemaid for at least 2 years
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and spoken)
- Must have a valid biometric passport or be willing to obtain one
- Physically fit and able to handle cleaning tasks throughout the day
- Familiar with different cleaning techniques and products
- Excellent time‑management skills
- Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
This is a full‑time position with a 6‑day work week (Friday is off). The working hours may vary depending on the family's schedule but will typically be from 8am to 5pm. You will not be provided with accommodation but will receive an attractive salary package based on your experience.
