Workshop​/Garage Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop/Garage Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and repair, as well as excellent managerial and organizational skills. As the Workshop/Garage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop and garage, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

• Manage and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
• Must have experience of dealing with UAE Insurance companies
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced
• Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies and parts as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in automotive technology
• Manage budget and expenses for the workshop/garage

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (Within UAE), preferably in a workshop or garage setting
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair techniques
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
• Proficient in using computer software for record-keeping and inventory management
• Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and standards
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus
