Overview
The Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the business during their shift, ensuring that customers receive high levels of service, and that the business runs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the operations of the business during their shift, ensuring that customers receive high levels of service.
- Manage the staff team during their shift, ensuring that they are working effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Monitor stock levels and order supplies as required.
- Create and implement staff rotas and schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with staff members.
- Liaise with other teams and departments to ensure the efficient operation of the business.
- Proven experience as a Shift Leader or in a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required.
