Position SummaryThe CNC Lathe Machine Operator measures large and small components to ensure proper fit in the final design, identifies potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before production, and executes tasks in accordance with HSE standards, corporate standards, and corporate policy.
General Responsibilities- Comply fully with LIN SCAN IT requirements.

- Follow Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required.
- Assure timely and accurate reporting to the IT Department.
- Identify training requirements.
- Study assembly specifications to perform efficient process orders for specific projects.
- Measure each component to ensure proper fit.
- Identify potential problems by understanding machine specifications and drawings before production.
- Assemble metal components.
- Polish finished components.
- Manufacture metal components and assemble them into tools and machine components.
- Maintain equipment.
- Take accurate measurements.
- Team up with machinists.
- Execute all other tasks as requested by the R&D Director or immediate Supervisor within the assigned role.
- ITI Technical certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Industrial Training Institute).
- Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in the engineering/design department for production of design/shop drawings/material submittals.
- Prior experience in inline inspection is preferred.
- Knowledge of Siemens & Fanuc control operating systems.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English, both spoken and written.
- Lifting and carrying ability up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: ability to walk, climb, and maneuver within a refinery or plant environment, including elevated platforms via ladders and stairs.
- Effective communication: clarity of speech and hearing.
- Ability to focus and multitask effectively.
- Ability to wear safety equipment as required.
- Personal mobility and reflexes sufficient for office duties and travel to off‑site locations when necessary.
