Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-line and final inspections of garments based on AQL standards.
Check measurements, stitching, trims, labels, and overall finishing of garments.
Identify and classify defects such as open seams, puckering, loose threads, stains, and size issues.
Compare finished garments against buyer-approved samples and tech packs.
Maintain detailed inspection reports and defect logs.
Coordinate with the production and QA teams to address quality issues promptly.
Assist in root cause analysis and follow up on rework and corrective actions.
Ensure all quality checks are done as per company SOPs and SAIF Zone compliance standards.
Ensure garments are properly ironed, folded, tagged, and packed as per buyer requirements.
Report any non-compliance or unsafe practices to the QA Supervisor or Line Manager.
Qualifications:Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Ability to read and write.
EssentialSkills:
Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Quality Checker in a garment manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of AQL levels, garment construction, and inspection processes.
Ability to use measurement tools (measuring tape, GSM cutter, etc.).
Knowledge of different types of garments (woven, knit, casual wear, uniforms, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and high visual accuracy.
Basic reporting and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production setup.
