Production Manager

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the entire production function ensuring high‑quality output, cost efficiency, safety compliance, and on‑time delivery while driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations.

• Production Planning & Scheduling:
  Develop and implement effective production schedules, optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production resources, coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Operations Management:
  Supervise day‑to‑day production activities, monitor productivity and minimize downtime, maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Quality & Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer requirements, enforce safety procedures and environmental compliance.
• People Management:
  Lead, train, and motivate production teams; manage workforce planning, attendance, discipline, and performance.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Drive Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives, implement productivity improvement and cost‑reduction projects.

• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities
• Expertise in manufacturing processes and production systems
• Hands‑on knowledge of machinery, quality systems, and process improvement
• ERP and production planning experience
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering or related field.

8–15 years in manufacturing/production, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
