Finishing Carpenter ​/ Sofa Carpenter

Responsibilities

• Carry out finishing carpentry work for sofas beds chairs and other upholstered furniture
• Read and understand furniture drawings dimensions and specifications
• Perform accurate cutting shaping assembling and finishing of wooden components
• Prepare and assemble sofa and furniture frames according to required designs and specifications
• Ensure all furniture pieces are properly aligned assembled and finished to a high standard
• Carry out modifications and adjustments when required
• Inspect completed work to ensure proper quality dimensions and finishing
• Work closely with upholsterers and other production team members
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company quality and production standards

• Previous experience as a finishing carpenter, sofa carpenter, furniture carpenter, or similar role.
• Experience in custom furniture and sofa manufacturing is preferred.
• Good knowledge of woodworking tools and machinery.
• Ability to understand drawings and measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work according to production deadlines.
• UAE furniture factory experience is an advantage.
