Job Summary:
We are looking for a Welder to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding different metals and alloys using various welding techniques. This is a permanent position with a salary of 1300 AED per month, and we are open to considering foreign applicants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform all types of welding operations as assigned by the supervisor or foreman
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches and drawings accurately
- Monitor the welding process to ensure that welds meet specifications
- Use hand tools as required for grinding, chipping, fitting and cleaning
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Repair defective equipment parts using welding techniques
- Report any problems or defects in welds to the supervisor or foreman
- Maintain records of work completed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in welding operation (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
- Basic understanding of basic arithmetic skills and measurements such as fractions, decimals and proportions
- Knowledge of safety precautions when handling tools and equipment used in welding operations
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
