Steel Fabricator

Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our team. The Fabricator will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing metal components according to technical drawings and project specifications. The role requires hands-on experience in fabrication, welding, and use of workshop tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Fabricators typically read blueprints, measure materials, cut and assemble metal parts, and ensure the finished product meets required specifications and safety guidelines.

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, sketches, and technical specifications
• Measure, cut, bend, grind, and assemble metal components
• Perform fitting and fabrication of stainless steel, mild steel, or structural steel items
• Use fabrication tools such as grinders, cutting machines, drills, and welding equipment
• Ensure proper alignment and finishing of fabricated items
• Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets project standards
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working area
• Follow company safety rules and wear required PPE
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members during fabrication and installation

• Minimum 2-5 years experience as a Fabricator
• Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings
• Experience in metal fabrication and fitting work
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication tools
• Physically fit and able to handle workshop/site work
• Basic knowledge of safety procedures
