Job Description / Role:Our client is a Global Rigid Plastic Manufacturing Company looking to hire a Production Manager with EBM (Extrusion Blow Molding) & IM (Injection Molding) experience.
The role is responsible for supervising and optimizing day-to-day production operations in EBM and IM processes, ensuring productivity, quality, and cost targets are achieved while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute daily production plans for EBM, and IM processes lines to meet output targets
- Monitor machine performance, cycle times, and productivity
- Drive operational excellence through process improvements, OEE enhancement, and waste reduction
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage preventive and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime
- Control manufacturing costs, including material usage, manpower, and utilities
- Lead, coach, and develop plant teams to drive performance and accountability
- Collaborate with supply chain, quality, and engineering teams for seamless operations
- Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Required:
- 15+ years of hands-on experience managing EBM, and IM processes lines in a manufacturing/packaging environment
- Experience with high-speed rigid packaging production lines preferred
Education
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, CIPET
-Plastics Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of OEE, cycle time optimization, and process troubleshooting
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, SOPs, and quality specifications
- Familiarity with GMP, ISO, or food/pharma safety standards (industry-dependent)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Good attention to detail and quality-consciousness
