As a Printing Supervisor
- Flexo supporting advanced packaging manufacturing at Al Bayader International in Sharjah, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of flexographic press shift operations, job scheduling, quality assurance, and workforce coordination. Your day-to-day responsibilities include supervising press operators and ink technicians, monitoring print registration and color matching, troubleshooting complex print defects, managing ink inventory, and executing preventative maintenance coordination.

You will utilize your proactive, hands‑on leadership style to achieve superior print quality and output targets. • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day flexographic printing shift operations, job schedules, and press crew personnel.
• Monitor print quality, registration accuracy, color consistency, and substrate tension across multi-color flexo presses.
• Oversee plate mounting, prepress alignment, ink formulation, viscosity control, and color matching protocols.
• Troubleshoot complex flexographic printing defects and press mechanical issues, implementing immediate corrective actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance standards, customer brand guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, anilox roller cleaning, and press servicing with maintenance engineering squads.
• Lead shift handovers, conduct safety toolbox talks, and maintain meticulous production logs, waste reports, and ink usage records.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate press operators, assistant operators, and ink room technicians to foster a high-performance team culture.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Printing Technology, Graphic Arts, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive professional experience in flexographic printing operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong practical hands‑on expertise in CI flexo and stack flexo printing presses, color management systems, and ink mixing technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of packaging substrates, flexographic plate technologies, curing systems, and print defect analysis.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and cross‑functional communication skills.
• Mandatory legal work eligibility in the United Arab Emirates with local residency and availability for on‑site operations in Sharjah.
