As a Paper Cup Supervisor supporting advanced paper packaging manufacturing at Al Bayader International in Sharjah, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of paper cup forming shift operations, machine setup, parameter tuning, and workforce coordination. Your day-to-day responsibilities include supervising machine operators, monitoring production speeds, checking cup sealing integrity and bottom leakage, troubleshooting forming defects, executing preventative maintenance coordination, and maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day paper cup forming shift operations, production schedules, and floor personnel in a packaging plant.
• Monitor paper cup machine parameters, bottom paper feeding, sidewall blank alignment, knurling pressure, and ultrasonic sealing.
• Execute rapid machine setups, size changeovers, and trial runs adhering to strict technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot paper cup manufacturing defects (e.g., bottom leaks, poor sidewall sealing, wrinkles, out-of-round cups) and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality assurance standards, leak testing protocols, and product specifications.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, machine servicing, and minor repairs with internal maintenance engineering squads.
• Lead shift handovers, conduct safety toolbox talks, and maintain meticulous production logs, downtime records, and material usage reports.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate machine operators and junior technicians to foster a high-performance production culture.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive professional experience in paper cup manufacturing or automated converting machinery operations.
• Strong practical hands‑on expertise in high-speed paper cup forming machines (e.g., Autobag, OWLS, or similar automatic cup formers) and auxiliary packaging equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of PE/PLA coated paperboard stocks, knurling mechanics, and ultrasonic/thermal sealing principles.
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, and cross‑functional communication skills.
