NNC is looking for a Social Media Account Manager who can own client relationships, understand social media deeply and turn business objectives into work that performs.
This is not a coordination-only role.
We are looking for someone who understands the client's business, challenges briefs when necessary, develops recommendations, guides internal teams and takes ownership from strategy and content planning through execution and reporting.
You will sit at the centre of our client relationships, working closely with creative, social, strategy, production, growth and content teams.
You should understand how brands behave across today's platforms, what audiences respond to and how performance insights can be turned into better creative and strategic decisions.
You will also be expected to use AI as part of your everyday workflow—to research faster, develop stronger briefs, analyse information, improve reporting and make account management more effective.
What You'll DoClient Ownership & Relationships- Act as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders across different levels of seniority.
- Understand each client's business, objectives, audiences and priorities.
- Anticipate client needs rather than waiting for requests.
- Manage expectations around timelines, scope, approvals and deliverables.
- Identify risks early and resolve issues proactively.
- Lead meetings, presentations and working sessions confidently in Arabic and English.
- Position NNC as a strategic partner, not simply an execution partner.
- Understand Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, Snapchat, X, Linked In, Facebook and emerging platforms.
- Translate business objectives into clear social media objectives.
- Contribute to always-on strategies, campaigns, content pillars and platform plans.
- Understand audience behaviour, culture, platform formats and content consumption.
- Identify relevant trends, conversations and cultural opportunities for brands.
- Lead monthly and campaign content planning with creative and social teams.
- Turn client needs into clear, actionable creative briefs.
- Review content calendars and creative work before client submission.
- Evaluate ideas based on strategy, originality, platform relevance and client objectives.
- Provide clear, consolidated feedback that helps internal teams improve the work.
- Understand short-form video, Reels, carousels, stories, statics, creators and reactive content.
- Communicate confidently with clients and teams in Arabic and English.
- Review Arabic content for meaning, tone, cultural relevance and quality.
- Recognise Arabic copy that feels translated, unnatural or culturally disconnected.
- Understand UAE and GCC audiences, communication expectations and cultural sensitivities.
- Ensure Arabic and English content communicate ideas naturally rather than through literal translation.
- Own timelines, deliverables, approvals and dependencies across multiple accounts.
- Coordinate effectively across creative, copy, social, strategy, production and growth teams.
- Keep projects moving without waiting to be chased.
- Prioritise effectively when multiple requests compete for attention.
- Flag risks, delays and scope changes early.
- Maintain clear account documentation, status updates and approval records.
- Manage multiple stakeholders without losing attention to detail.
- Understand key social metrics including reach, engagement, views, watch time, retention, clicks, sentiment and conversions where relevant.
- Interpret performance rather than simply report numbers.
- Identify patterns and turn them into actionable recommendations.
- Contribute to monthly reports, campaign reports and business reviews.
- Explain results to clients in clear business language.
- Use performance insights to improve future content, creative and platform strategy.
A strong report should answer:
What happened? Why did it happen? What should we do next?
- Understand how community management contributes to brand perception.
- Monitor audience feedback, recurring questions and sentiment.
- Recognise potential reputation risks and elevate them appropriately.
- Feed community insights back into content and strategy.
- Use generative AI confidently as part of everyday account-management work.
- Use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or comparable platforms for research, synthesis, planning, analysis and ideation.
- Use AI for competitor…
