E-commerce manager

Mohamed Hilal Group is looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead and grow the online business across its retail and luxury brand portfolio.

The role will be responsible for managing the end-to-end e-commerce function, from website and marketplace performance to online merchandising, digital sales, customer experience, promotions, and commercial growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial understanding with hands‑on knowledge of e-commerce operations and digital platforms.

• Develop and execute the e-commerce strategy in line with overall retail and brand objectives.
• Own online sales performance, revenue growth, conversion, average order value, and other key e-commerce KPIs.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website and relevant online marketplaces.
• Oversee product listings, pricing, promotions, collections, product descriptions, images, and online merchandising.
• Ensure websites are regularly updated with new launches, campaigns, offers, and relevant brand content.
• Analyse customer behaviour, website performance, sales trends, and conversion data to identify opportunities for growth.
• Work closely with Marketing and Brand teams to plan and execute digital campaigns, launches, promotions, and seasonal activities.
• Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer experience.
• Monitor inventory availability online and coordinate with relevant teams to minimise stock‑outs and fulfilment issues.
• Manage relationships with e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, agencies, technology partners, and other external vendors where required.
• Identify opportunities to improve website functionality, user experience, payment processes, and overall online customer journey.
• Prepare regular e-commerce performance reports and provide actionable insights to management.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, pricing, promotions, and emerging e-commerce opportunities.
• Ensure online brand presentation is consistent with the positioning and guidelines of each retail brand.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve online customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and conversion.

• Bachelor’s degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably within retail, luxury, beauty, fragrance, fashion, or F&B-related consumer businesses.
• Strong experience managing e-commerce websites and online marketplaces.
• Good understanding of e-commerce platforms, CMS, payment gateways, CRM, analytics, and digital marketing tools.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales and customer data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with e-commerce dashboards and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of online merchandising, SEO, conversion optimisation, promotions, and customer experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Retail, Operations, Logistics, Finance, and IT teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
