Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess vital signs and health status of critically ill neonates, ensuring prompt interventions as needed.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV fluids accurately while adhering to strict protocols for neonatal care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each infant’s needs.
- Educate and support families in understanding the complexities of NICU care, fostering emotional resilience during challenging times.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree from an accredited institution is essential.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with specialized certification in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Level III or IV NICU setting, demonstrating advanced clinical skills and knowledge.
- Experience with neonatal resuscitation and stabilization techniques, showcasing readiness for high‑stakes situations.
