Job Overview
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of quality control within the organization. This will include but is not limited to developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and tests, analyzing data and ensuring compliance with the industry standards & regulations.
Responsibilities Inspection & Testing- Conduct periodic inspections of raw materials, in-process components and finished products.
- Perform stipulated tests and analysis to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Assess company’s production processes and curating in-house quality policies & procedures
- Establish and maintain quality standards for products.
- Establish standard operating procedures for sampling, recording and reporting data, to ensure consistency in the quality of products delivered.
- Identify areas of improvement in quality control processes.
- Implement measures to address customer concerns and facilitate improved customer satisfaction.
- Ensure the production processes comply with both local and international standards.
- Maintaining detailed records of QC activities, test results and inspections.
- Train the quality assurance personnel and other workers on quality control best practices.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of the materials supplied.
- Lead and manage the quality control team.
- 1- 2 years of quality control/assurance experience in a supervisory role.
- Diploma with specialization in quality management.
- Knowledge of using basic quality instruments.
- Fluency in English and Hindi/Urdu is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office mainly Word & Excel.
- Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methods & standards.
- Analytical skills for interpreting data and identifying industry trends.
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and quality management systems Eg. ISO, Six Sigma, etc.
- Attention to details and commitment to excellence.
