ARAB Quality Inspector: Building Facility
Conduct general inspection for the building maintenance works for quality, workmanship, safety, and functionality
Identify and report defects, non-conformities, poor workmanship, and incomplete works, and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
Prepare and maintain inspection reports, checklists, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and quality records.
Monitor maintenance teams to ensure work is completed within the required quality, safety, and technical standards.
Inspect materials, spare parts, fixtures, fittings, and equipment to verify compliance with approved specifications before installation or use.
Verify the quality of preventive and corrective maintenance activities and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
Check completed works for proper installation, alignment, finishing, functionality, and workmanship.
Coordinate with the Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities, and HSE teams regarding identified quality issues and required corrective measures.
Monitor recurring defects and assist in identifying root causes and preventive actions to improve maintenance quality.
Review maintenance records, inspection reports, testing results, and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
Conduct follow-up inspections to verify that corrective actions have been properly implemented and closed.
Maintain an organized Quality Control/Quality Assurance documentation system for all inspected maintenance activities.
Provide regular feedback to line management regarding quality performance, recurring defects, maintenance team performance, and improvement areas.
Support internal audits, quality inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives related to building maintenance operations.
The ideal candidate should posses a strong personality
Minimum 3 to 5 years of UAE experience in Quality Inspection / Building Maintenance.
Strong knowledge of Building Maintenance and MEP works.
Ability to read technical drawings and understand maintenance specifications.
Good knowledge of quality control procedures, inspections, snagging, and defect rectification.
Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
