Head Chef at High-End Restaurant

We are in search of an experienced and talented Head Chef to lead the culinary team at our high-end restaurant in Sharjah. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing our menu, maintaining high food quality and standards, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a smooth running of the restaurant. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior chefs, as well as managing inventory and budget.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef in a high-end restaurant
• Extensive knowledge of international cuisines and ability to create unique and innovative dishes
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in managing food costs, inventory, and budgeting
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Food safety certification is preferred

• Develop menus that are creative, innovative, and meet the highest quality standards
• Manage kitchen operations including ordering ingredients, supervising food preparation, and ensuring timely delivery of dishes
• Train and mentor junior chefs on proper cooking techniques, plating presentation, and kitchen sanitation procedures
• Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and ordering supplies as needed
• Monitor food costs by implementing portion control measures and minimizing waste
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
• Collaborate with management on developing new concepts or promotions for the restaurant
