Merchandiser, Retail

We are a multinational retail company looking for a Merchandiser to join our team in Sharjah As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for planning and implementing merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability

• Develop and implement merchandising plans in line with company objectives and budgets
• Conduct market research to identify customer preferences and trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including buying marketing and operations to plan product assortments
• Analyze sales data to understand product performance and make recommendations for improvements
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained
• Negotiate with suppliers for pricing promotions and product availability
• Create visual displays and layouts that enhance the customer shopping experience
• Train store staff on product knowledge merchandising standards and customer service

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Merchandiser in the retail industry
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make strategic decisions based on findings
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative merchandising plans
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms from suppliers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis

The salary for this position is $1100 per month

This position is based in Sharjah Candidates must be willing to relocate if not already residing in Sharjah
