Inventory & Loss Prevention Specialist

The Inventory Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for protecting company assets by driving inventory accuracy, reducing stock shrinkage, strengthening internal controls, and supporting loss prevention initiatives across retail operations. The role works closely with Finance, Retail Operations, Warehouse, Commercial, and Security teams to identify risks, investigate variances, improve compliance, and implement best practices that safeguard inventory and profitability.

• Lead and coordinate periodic stock counts, cycle counts, and annual physical inventories.
• Monitor inventory accuracy across all retail stores and warehouses.
• Investigate inventory variances and ensure timely reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Review stock movement transactions to ensure integrity and compliance.

• Identify, analyze, and report shrinkage trends, inventory losses, and operational risks.
• Conduct investigations into stock losses, theft, fraud, procedural breaches, and unusual inventory movements.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to reduce inventory shrinkage.
• Support the development and maintenance of loss prevention policies and procedures.

• Perform regular store audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitor adherence to inventory management, cash handling, and operational control procedures.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, analysis, and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, airport regulations, and regulatory requirements.
