Merchandiser vacancy in Sharjah UAE for foreigners responsibilities, qualifications and requirements.

Merchandiser position available in Sharjah with a salary of 1300. We are looking for an experienced merchandiser to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the promotion of our products, to ensure that they are presented in a way that maximizes sales.

• Promote products through various methods, including displays, window dressing and special promotions.
• Oversee the maintenance of shop shelves and displays to ensure they are kept tidy and well stocked.
• Provide advice on product selection to customers.
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain records of sales and stock levels.
• Manage stock levels efficiently and promptly order new supplies when required.
• Monitor competitor activity and take appropriate action where necessary.

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in merchandising or related field is preferred but not essential; immigrants considered.
• Good knowledge of retail products, trends, pricing structures, customer service principles etc.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with a strong customer focus.
• Able to multitask while working under pressure with tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential
