A busy retail store in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling customer transactions and ensuring accuracy and efficiency at the register. This position requires strong numeracy skills and excellent customer service abilities.

• Greet customers and process their purchases accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and store policies
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any discrepancies
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the checkout area at all times
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or complaints in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations

• Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred
• Strong numeracy skills with the ability to handle cash accurately
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer knowledge for processing transactions and managing inventory
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
