Cashier - Retail Store (UAE)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cashier to join our retail store team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a neat and organized checkout area. This position requires someone with previous cashier experience, preferably in a retail setting.

• Greet customers as they enter the store and provide them with a positive shopping experience
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed
• Maintain accurate cash drawer balance at all times
• Ensure all prices and products are scanned correctly at the checkout
• Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining cleanliness of the store as needed
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner

• Previous cashier experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
• Ability to handle cash transactions quickly and accurately
• Basic math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change for customers
• Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Must be able to work in Sharjah, UAE with valid residency or visa sponsorship
