Indian Merchandiser (Contract)
We are urgently seeking an Indian Merchandiser to join our team on a contract basis in Sharjah, UAE. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for planning and developing product ranges, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the products are displayed in an attractive manner in retail stores.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the buying team to plan product ranges according to market trends and customer demand
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and on-time delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with suppliers to replenish stock as needed
- Work closely with retail stores to ensure products are displayed in an appealing manner
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and make recommendations for improvement
- Indian nationality preferred
- Fluent in English
- Previous experience in merchandising is not required but considered a plus
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
