Requirements- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail
- Good math skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Ability to stand for long periods of time while working
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic computer programs
- High school degree
- Greet customers when they enter the store
- Scan items and collect payments for purchases
- Issue receipts, refunds, discounts, or change due to customers
- Process returns and exchanges as needed
- Balance cash register at the end of each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the store
