Cashier (Indian Nationals) in Sharjah, UAE

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele.

• Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter
• Accurately scan and process items for purchase using the POS system
• Collect payments from customers in the form of cash, credit/debit cards or vouchers
• Issue receipts, change and refunds as necessary
• Maintain clean and organized checkout counters to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves when needed
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints or concerns in a professional manner

• Indian national currently residing in Sharjah, UAE
• High school diploma or equivalent education required; relevant certification or training will be an asset
• Minimum 1 year of cashier experience in a retail environment preferred
• Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively
• Proficient in using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
