Cashier - Retail Store

We are hiring a full-time Cashier for our retail store in Sharjah The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cash handling and customer service preferably in a retail setting As a Cashier you will be responsible for processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently handling cash and card payments and providing exceptional customer service This position requires attention to detail strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure

• - Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
• - Scan and process items accurately using a POS system
• - Handle cash and card payments with accuracy
• - Maintain an organized and clean checkout area
• - Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints
• - Promote store promotions and upsell products when appropriate
• - Complete opening and closing procedures as required
• - Follow all company policies and procedures

• - High school diploma or equivalent
• - Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred
• - Basic math skills for counting cash accurately
• - Ability to handle cash transactions quickly and efficiently
• - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers effectively
• - Attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions
• - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
