A reputable retail store in Sharjah, UAE is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This is a contract job with the potential for permanent employment.
Requirements- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- African nationality preferred
- No prior experience required
- Must have own valid UAE visa
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Greet customers in a friendly manner and assist them with their purchases
- Scan items, collect payments, and provide correct change to customers
- Process refunds or exchanges as needed
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and handle cash with integrity
- Keep checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues promptly
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth store operations
