Commercial Manager - Dryport

JOB SUMMARY

Lead and manage the commercial activities of the dry port, driving TEU and tonnage growth, revenue, profitability, customer development, and new business opportunities. The role connects customer needs with operational capabilities, ensuring commercially sustainable growth and a high standard of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial strategy to drive TEU and tonnage growth, revenue, and profitable business across the dry port and relevant UAE terminal operations.
• Own and deliver sales targets, KPIs, revenue, pipeline, and EBITDA objectives, both individually and through the Sales & Marketing team.
• Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team, building a high-performance and results-driven culture.
• Develop and grow strategic customer accounts through retention, volume growth, cross-selling, and long-term relationship management.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities across container, general cargo, bulk, and integrated supply chain solutions.
• Drive pricing, contract, tariff, and commercial strategies, ensuring sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
• Lead customer proposals and tailored commercial solutions, working closely with terminal operations and internal stakeholders to align customer requirements with operational capabilities.
• Build strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, trade bodies, and strategic partners, representing the company at relevant industry events and forums.
• Use CRM, market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer data to manage the sales pipeline, identify opportunities, and support commercial decision-making.
• Partner with senior management to identify and execute market growth opportunities, strengthen the dry port's competitive position, and maximize long-term commercial value.
