Inside Sales Executive

We are looking for an Inside Sales Executive to manage and grow Gulftainer's broader Port & Terminal customer base from within the office. Where our external sales team focuses on a small number of large accounts, you will manage a high number of mid-sized and smaller customers — a base that is significant in aggregate volume and often the source of tomorrow's major accounts.

The successful candidate will be commercially minded, comfortable initiating contact rather than only responding to it, and methodical enough to work systematically through a large account list. This role carries its own targets and is a recognised route into external sales.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in inside sales, telesales, commercial support or customer service, preferably in shipping, freight forwarding, logistics or ports.
• Comfortable initiating contact with customers by telephone and holding a commercial conversation, not only responding to requests.
• Demonstrated ability to work systematically through a large account list and keep momentum across many small opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident with CRM systems, Excel and standard commercial reporting.
• Basic understanding of container shipping, terminal services and trade documentation, or the aptitude and appetite to learn it quickly.
• Bachelor's degree, or diploma with relevant experience.
• Fluent English;
  Arabic, Hindi or Urdu an advantage given the customer base.
• Resilient, self-motivated and accountable for personal targets.
