Overview
Maintenance Assistant/Handyman – We are currently hiring a Maintenance Assistant/Handyman to join our team in Sharjah. As a Maintenance Assistant/Handyman, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to general maintenance and repairs in our facilities. This includes but is not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work. You must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
This position does not include accommodation and is suitable for Pakistani nationals who are proficient in English and looking for part-time work while studying.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting work.
- Inspect facilities and identify any issues or needed repairs.
- Communicate with the supervisor on the status of repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed.
- Assist with inventory management of maintenance supplies.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in general maintenance or handyman work preferred.
- Proficient in English with good communication skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Working hours:
Part-time position with flexible working hours.
Salary: 1800$ per month.
Location:
Sharjah (candidates must have their own transportation).
