Logistics Coordinator (Contract) - Sharjah, UAE

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Sharjah, UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and at least 3 years of experience in logistics coordination. This is a contract position with no accommodation provided.

• Coordinate and manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for replenishment or reduction based on demand
• Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations and customs requirements
• Prepare shipping documents, such as invoices, bills of lading, and export/import licenses
• Track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers to negotiate rates and ensure efficient service
• Prepare reports on logistics activities for management review

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics coordination or related role
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders
• Knowledge of local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English is required
• Preference will be given to African or Egyptian candidates
