- Safely operate manual and automatic vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic laws and company policies to prevent accidents and ensure timely arrivals.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, meticulously checking fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and lights to guarantee roadworthiness and report any defects immediately.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details, utilizing company-provided systems or forms for precise record-keeping and reporting.
- Load and unload cargo or passengers with care and efficiency, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items to prevent damage or loss during transit.
- Possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle types operated.
- Demonstrate a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles in a professional capacity.
- Exhibit a clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years.
- High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred, providing a foundation for understanding instructions and regulations.
