A dynamic logistics company in Sharjah is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator. This position is suitable for experienced professionals with excellent communication skills particularly in English. The ideal candidate will have experience in coordinating transportation and logistics operations preferably in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong ability to multi-task problem solve and work under pressure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of goods and materials as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory and shipments.
This role offers a salary of 1000$ per month with accommodation provided. Preference will be given to Indian nationals.
- Coordinating transportation and logistics operations
- Communicating with suppliers carriers and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels and shipments
- Tracking shipments and resolving any issues that may arise
- Identifying areas for improvement in the supply chain process
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
- Providing support to the logistics team as needed
- Previous experience in coordinating transportation and logistics operations
- Excellent communication skills particularly in English
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task effectively
- Problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well under pressure
- Proficiency with relevant software programs such as Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines related to transportation and logistics
- A proactive attitude and the ability to identify areas for improvement
