Oversee daily fleet operations ensuring efficient vehicle deployment scheduling and routing to meet service demands.
Fleet Compliance- Ensure all vehicles have valid registration insurance permits and other required documentation.
- Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols and compliance measures including vehicle inspections driver training and adherence to transportation regulations.
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend vehicle lifespan optimizing repair schedules and parts inventory.
- strong strong Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance fuel usage mileage repairs accidents fines and driver documentation.
- strong strong Liaise with garages workshops insurance providers and other fleet-related service providers.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in fleet management, with a proven track record of operational success.
Certified Fleet Manager (CFM) or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable.
Extensive experience in the transportation or logistics industry, understanding diverse operational challenges.
